KFC-SECRET-RECIPE

*Ingredients :
  • one tablespoon paprika
  • two teaspoons onion salt
  • one teaspoon chili powder
  • one teaspoon black pepper
  • half teaspoon celery salt
  • half teaspoon dried sage
  • half teaspoon garlic powder
  • half teaspoon ground spices
  • half teaspoon dried oregano
  • half teaspoon dried basil
  • half teaspoon dried marjoram
  • one 1/2 cups Gold All-Purpose Flour
  • one tablespoon brown sugar
  • one tablespoon kosher salt
  • one whole chicken (2 breasts, 2 drumsticks, 2 drumsticks, 2 wings)
  • one egg white
  • two liters neutral oil for frying

Heat a skillet to three hundred fifty  degrees Fahrenheit. Mix all the spices well together.

Mix the spices with the flour, brown sugar and salt.

Dip the chicken pieces in the egg white to coat them slightly, then transfer to the flour mixture. Flip it a few times and make sure the flour mixture really sticks to the chicken. Repeat with all chicken pieces.

Let the chicken pieces rest for five  minutes so that the skins dry out a bit.

Fry the chicken in batches. The breasts and wings should take twelve to fourteen  minutes, and the legs and thighs will need a few more minutes. Chicken pieces are cooked when a meat thermometer inserted into the thicker portion reads one hundred sixty five  degrees Fahrenheit.

Allow the chicken to drain on a few paper towels when it comes out of the fryer. Serve hot.
