Apple filling
- eight large Granny Smith apples
- half cup sugar, to taste
- one teaspoon ground cinnamon
For garnish
- two cups flour
- two cups of sugar
- two teaspoons of yeast
- Quarter teaspoon of salt
- two large eggs
- 2/3 cup melted butter
directions
Preheat oven to three hundred fifty degrees.
Apples peeled also cut to a quarter inch thick slices.
Add the apples to a large bowl and toss with half cup sugar and cinnamon. Tasted also add more sugar as need if the apples are too tart.
Pour the apples into a 9x13 baking dish also set aside.
Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and eggs in a medium mixing bowl until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Sprinkle the melted butter evenly over the breadcrumb mixture.
Bake for forty five to sixty min or until top layer is golden brown.
