Cajun Cabbage Jambalaya

Cajun Cabbage Jambalaya
Ingredients :
- one pound spicy pork sausage
- one onion (chopped)
- four garlic cloves (minced)
- one green bell pepper
- one cup celery
- one head green cabbage
- one can (fourteen ounces) diced tomatoes (undrained)
- one cup chicken broth
- half cup of water
- one cup uncooked brown basmati rice
- one tablespoon chilli powder
- half teaspoon of salt
- one teaspoon paprika
- half teaspoon cumin
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper.
Instructions :
In a large saucepan, cook the pork sausage with the onion and garlic until browned.
Stir in green pepper and celery; cook and stir for three more minutes.
Add all rest ingredients & bring to a boil.
Covering, reduce heat to low, & cook, stir occasionally, to rice is tender, for forty to fifty minutes.
