Quick, easy homemade bread with no yeast—soft, golden, and ready in just 20 minutes.

Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Equipment

  • Baking sheet
  • cooling rack

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease or line baking sheet.
  2. Whisk flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar in a bowl.
  3. Add warm water and olive oil. Stir until dough forms.
  4. Knead lightly 2–3 minutes until smooth.
  5. Shape into loaf or rolls.
  6. Bake 18–20 minutes, until golden and hollow-sounding.
  7. Cool slightly before slicing.

Notes

Add herbs, garlic, or cheese for flavor twists.
