A sweet and savory baked chicken dish made with only three ingredients. Juicy chicken thighs coated in a caramelized brown sugar glaze with deep savory flavor. Perfect for potlucks and family dinners.

Ingredients
  

  • 6 –8 bone-in chicken thighs
  • 1 cup brown sugar or fruit preserves
  • 1 packet onion soup mix or ½ cup soy sauce

Equipment

  • - 9x13 baking dish
  • measuring cup
  • spoon

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Arrange chicken in baking dish, skin side up.
  3. Add savory base (soup mix or soy sauce).
  4. Top with brown sugar or preserves.
  5. Bake 45–60 minutes until caramelized and cooked through.
  6. Spoon sauce over chicken and serve.

Notes

Do not cover while baking
Use dark meat for best results
Broil briefly for extra caramelization
Let sauce thicken before removing from oven
