Ingredients
  

  • 1 block 250g halloumi cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 lemon for serving

Equipment

  • Non-stick or cast-iron skillet
  • Knife & spatula

Method
 

  1. Pat halloumi dry with paper towels. Slice into ½-inch thick pieces.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Fry slices 2–3 minutes per side, until golden brown and crispy.
  4. Transfer to a plate, squeeze lemon juice on top, and serve immediately.

Notes

Best eaten fresh; reheating softens texture.
Try serving with dips like tzatziki or chili sauce.
Great as an appetizer, snack, or salad topper.
