Step 1: Prepare the Ingredients
- Wash the lemons and ginger thoroughly.
- Slice the lemons and ginger into thin slices for better flavor infusion.
Step 2: Boil the Water
- Bring 4 cups of water to a gentle boil in a saucepan.
- Once boiling, turn off the heat.
Step 3: Add the Ingredients
- Add sliced lemons, ginger, turmeric, and black pepper (if using) to the hot water.
- Stir well and let the mixture steep for 30 minutes to allow the flavors to infuse fully.
Step 4: Strain and Serve
- Strain the drink using a fine mesh strainer to remove the solid pieces.
- Serve warm or allow to cool to room temperature.
- Add 1–2 teaspoons of honey for a hint of natural sweetness if desired.
Notes
- Drink twice daily for best results.
- Store in the fridge for up to 3 days.
