- Spread pretzels on a lined baking sheet.
- Melt butter in saucepan; add brown sugar.
- Bring to a boil; cook 3–4 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat; stir in vanilla and baking soda.
- Pour toffee over pretzels and toss to coat.
- Cool 1 hour until hardened.
- Break into clusters; drizzle with chocolate if desired.
Notes
For richer flavor, use dark brown sugar.
Add flaky sea salt for a gourmet sweet-salty finish.
Pretzels stay fresh up to 2 weeks in an airtight container.
To gift: bag in clear cellophane with ribbon.
