Candied Bacon Crackers

Sweet and salty baked bacon crackers with caramelized brown sugar glaze. Perfect easy party appetizer for holidays, game day, and gatherings.

Ingredients
  

  • 30 rectangular buttery crackers
  • 15 slices thin bacon halved
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes optional
  • ½ tsp black pepper optional

Equipment

  • Baking sheet
  • Wire rack
  • Foil or parchment

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Line baking sheet with foil and place wire rack on top.
  3. Arrange crackers on rack.
  4. Top each with half slice bacon.
  5. Spoon brown sugar evenly over bacon.
  6. Sprinkle optional spices.
  7. Bake 25–30 minutes until caramelized and crisp.
  8. Cool 10–15 minutes before serving.

Notes

Thin-cut bacon works best.
Do not skip wire rack.
Let cool completely before stacking.
