  • 1 egg white
  • 2 teaspoons water
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 pound pecan halves
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 250°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment.
  2. Whisk egg white, water, and vanilla until frothy. Add pecans and toss until coated.
  3. Mix sugar, cinnamon, and salt; toss with the pecans until fully coated.
  4. Spread in a single layer on the baking sheet. Bake 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
  5. Cool completely on the pan until crisp. Store in an airtight container.
