Method
- Brown the ground beef and onion until fully cooked.
- Drain excess grease and stir in the garlic.
- Add the broth, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, mustard, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Place the bottom halves of the slider buns in a greased baking dish.
- Spread the beef evenly over the buns.
- Top with cheese slices and dill pickles.
- Add the top buns.
- Brush with melted butter mixed with garlic powder.
- Cover with foil and bake at 350°F for 15 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake another 5 minutes until golden.
- Serve warm.
Notes
Don't over-reduce the meat mixture.
Hawaiian rolls make an excellent substitute.
Brush generously with garlic butter for extra flavor.
Best served fresh while the cheese is perfectly melted.
