Condensed Milk Pecan Pie: A Rich, Nutty Southern Classic You’ll Love

Ingredients
  

  • * 1 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
  • * 2 large eggs
  • * 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • * 1/4 cup unsalted butter melted
  • * 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • * 1/2 tsp salt
  • * 1 1/2 cups pecan halves
  • * 1 unbaked pie crust store-bought or homemade

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk sweetened condensed milk, eggs, vanilla, melted butter, flour, and salt until smooth.
  3. Fold in pecan halves to coat evenly.
  4. Pour filling into unbaked pie crust, spreading pecans evenly.
  5. Bake 45–50 minutes until center is set and top is golden brown. Cover edges with foil if browning too fast.
  6. Cool completely on a wire rack.
  7. Serve plain or with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.

Notes

* Toast pecans for extra flavor.
* Add cinnamon or nutmeg for spice.
* Use gluten-free crust for gluten-free option.
