Method
- Mix warm milk/water and sugar in a large bowl. Sprinkle yeast on top. Let sit 5–10 minutes until bubbly.
- Add flour and salt. Stir until shaggy dough forms.
- Add oil and mix until dough begins to come together.
- Knead for 8–10 minutes by hand or 5–7 minutes in a mixer until smooth and elastic.
- Place dough in greased bowl, cover, and rise 1–2 hours until doubled.
- Punch down and shape based on desired use.
- Allow second rise if needed (20–30 mins).
Bake according to application:
- Pizza: 475°F for 12–15 mins
- Cinnamon rolls: 350°F for 20–25 mins
- Bread loaf: 375°F for 30–35 mins
- Dinner rolls: 350°F for 15–20 mins
