Crazy Dough – One Recipe for Pizza, Rolls, Bread & More

Ingredients
  

  • 3 ½ cups 440g all-purpose flour
  • 1 ½ cups 360ml warm milk or water (105–115°F)
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 ¼ tsp 1 packet instant yeast
  • 1 ½ tsp salt
  • 3 tbsp vegetable or olive oil

Method
 

  1. Mix warm milk/water and sugar in a large bowl. Sprinkle yeast on top. Let sit 5–10 minutes until bubbly.
  2. Add flour and salt. Stir until shaggy dough forms.
  3. Add oil and mix until dough begins to come together.
  4. Knead for 8–10 minutes by hand or 5–7 minutes in a mixer until smooth and elastic.
  5. Place dough in greased bowl, cover, and rise 1–2 hours until doubled.
  6. Punch down and shape based on desired use.
  7. Allow second rise if needed (20–30 mins).
Bake according to application:
  1. Pizza: 475°F for 12–15 mins
  2. Cinnamon rolls: 350°F for 20–25 mins
  3. Bread loaf: 375°F for 30–35 mins
  4. Dinner rolls: 350°F for 15–20 mins
