Cream Cheese, Cheddar & Pepper Jelly Party Dip

A creamy layered appetizer featuring cream cheese, sharp cheddar, toasted pecans, fresh green onions, and sweet pepper jelly. Perfect for holidays, parties, and family gatherings.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 8-ounce blocks cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese freshly shredded
  • 4 green onions finely chopped, divided
  • 1 cup pecans toasted and chopped
  • 3/4 cup pepper jelly red or jalapeño
  • Buttery crackers for serving

Method
 

  1. Let the cream cheese soften at room temperature for about 30 minutes.
  2. Mix the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, and half of the green onions until smooth.
  3. Spread the mixture evenly onto a serving platter.
  4. Toast the pecans in a dry skillet for 3–4 minutes, then cool and chop.
  5. Sprinkle the pecans and remaining green onions over the cheese layer.
  6. Spoon the pepper jelly evenly over the top.
  7. Serve immediately with crackers, or chill for up to 2 hours before serving.

Notes

Toasting the pecans adds incredible flavor.
Assemble shortly before serving for the best texture.
Full-fat cream cheese creates the creamiest result.
Delicious with crackers, toasted bread, or fresh vegetables.
