- Let the cream cheese soften at room temperature for about 30 minutes.
- Mix the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, and half of the green onions until smooth.
- Spread the mixture evenly onto a serving platter.
- Toast the pecans in a dry skillet for 3–4 minutes, then cool and chop.
- Sprinkle the pecans and remaining green onions over the cheese layer.
- Spoon the pepper jelly evenly over the top.
- Serve immediately with crackers, or chill for up to 2 hours before serving.
