Method
- In a mixing bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth and fluffy.
- Stir in chopped chipped beef (reserve some for coating), green onions, cheddar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and pepper.
- Transfer mixture onto plastic wrap and shape into a ball or log. Chill for 1–2 hours.
- Place reserved chipped beef (and optional parsley/chives) on a plate and roll chilled cheese ball in the mixture to coat.
- Serve with crackers, pretzels, vegetables, or baguette slices. Keep refrigerated until serving.
Notes
For a spicier version, add jalapeños or extra hot sauce. Can be made ahead up to 24 hours. Flavor improves as it rests.
