Cuisine: American

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 large 10-inch flour tortillas
  • 4 slices American cheese or cheddar
  • 16 dill pickle slices
  • Ketchup and mustard to taste
  • Cooking spray

Equipment

  • air fryer, tongs

Method

  1. Brown ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat, seasoning with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Drain excess grease.
  2. Place one cheese slice in the center of each tortilla. Top with seasoned beef, 4 pickle slices, and a light drizzle of ketchup and mustard.
  3. Fold in the sides and roll tightly. Spray both sides with cooking spray.
  4. Air fry seam-side down at 375°F for 6–8 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy and the cheese is melted.
  5. Rest 1 minute, slice if desired, and serve warm.

Notes

Drain beef well to keep tortillas crisp. Do not overfill. Place seam-side down first. Work in batches if needed. American cheese gives classic melt. Best eaten fresh and hot. Reheat leftovers in the air fryer for crispness. Easy to customize with bacon or different cheeses.
