- Slice and pat dry tomatoes.
- Whisk eggs and milk. Mix flour, cornmeal, salt, pepper.
- Heat oil to 350°F.
- Dip tomatoes in egg wash, coat in flour mixture.
- Fry 2–3 mins per side. Drain on rack.
- Serve with dipping sauce.
Notes
Try adding spices to the flour mix.
Great on burgers or with a drizzle of hot honey.
