  • mixing bowls
  • Deep frying pan or deep fryer
  • Slotted spoon or tongs
  • Wire rack or paper towels
  • Knife and cutting board
  • Thermometer (optional, for oil temp)

Ingredients
  

  • 12 oz mushrooms halved
  • 4 garlic cloves minced
  • ¾ cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp Italian herbs
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions
 

  • Clean and dry mushrooms.
  • Set up dredging station with seasoned flour, egg + garlic, and breadcrumbs + Parmesan.
  • Coat mushrooms in flour → egg → breadcrumb.
  • Fry at 350°F until golden, 2–3 mins per side.
  • Drain and toss with garlic or herbs. Serve with dip of choice.
