Ingredients
  

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 10.5 oz can cream of mushroom soup
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • ¼ cup dry white wine optional
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Cooked noodles rice, or mashed potatoes
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Equipment

  • Slow cooker (crockpot)
  • mixing bowl
  • whisk
  • Two forks (for shredding)
  • Measuring cups and spoons

Method
 

  1. Grease slow cooker lightly.
  2. In a bowl, whisk cream cheese, soup, broth, wine, garlic powder, and onion powder. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Place chicken in crockpot; pour sauce over top.
  4. Cook on Low for 6–8 hrs or on High for 3–4 hrs until tender.
  5. Shred chicken and stir into sauce.
  6. Serve over noodles, rice, or mashed potatoes. Garnish with parsley.

Notes

Refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container up to 3 days. Reheat gently before serving.
