Ginger Water for Weight Management

A simple, all-natural drink made with fresh ginger to support digestion, metabolism, and weight management.

Equipment

  • Saucepan or pot
  • Strainer
  • Knife & cutting board
  • Glass or mug

Ingredients
  

  • 1 fresh ginger root about 2 inches, peeled and sliced
  • 3 cups water
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice optional
  • 1 teaspoon honey optional, for sweetness

Instructions
 

  • Peel and slice the fresh ginger root.
  • Bring 3 cups of water to a boil in a saucepan.
  • Add ginger slices and simmer for 10–15 minutes.
  • Strain the ginger water into a glass.
  • Add lemon juice or honey if desired.
  • Enjoy warm or chilled!

Notes

  • Adjust ginger strength by steeping longer or using more ginger.
  • Store in the fridge for up to 3 days.
  • Drink before meals to support metabolism.
