Ginger Water for Weight Management

- 1 fresh ginger root about 2 inches, peeled and sliced
- 3 cups water
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice optional
- 1 teaspoon honey optional, for sweetness
Peel and slice the fresh ginger root.
Bring 3 cups of water to a boil in a saucepan.
Add ginger slices and simmer for 10–15 minutes.
Strain the ginger water into a glass.
Add lemon juice or honey if desired.
Enjoy warm or chilled!
- Adjust ginger strength by steeping longer or using more ginger.
- Store in the fridge for up to 3 days.
