Prep Time 5 minutes
Total Time 5 minutes
Servings: 1 gallon

Ingredients

  • - 1 gallon white vinegar
  • - 2 cups Epsom salt
  • - ¼ cup biodegradable liquid dish soap
Optional:
  • - 1–2 tbsp lemon juice
  • - Few drops clove or citrus essential oil

Equipment

  • 1 large bucket or garden sprayer
  • Long-handled spoon or mixing stick
  • Funnel (if using a sprayer)
  • Protective gloves (optional but recommended)
  • Clearly labeled spray bottle for leftover mixture

Method

  1. In a large bucket or sprayer, combine vinegar, Epsom salt, and dish soap.
  2. Stir until the salt is fully dissolved.
  3. Spray directly on weeds during a sunny day for best results.
  4. Avoid spraying on grass or desirable plants.
  5. Reapply as needed after rain or for persistent weeds.

Notes

Storage:
Store in a clearly labeled bottle out of reach of children and pets. Shake before use.
Note:
Works best when applied in full sun. Not suitable for lawn-wide application—non-selective formula will kill most vegetation.
