Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 1/4 oz packet unflavored gelatin
  • 1/3 cup dry milk powder
  • 1/4 tsp kosher salt
  • 4 cups grated mild cheddar or a mix of cheddar and Colby

Instructions
 

  • Line a small loaf pan with plastic wrap, leaving extra overhang.
  • Bring 1 cup water to a boil.
  • In a blender, combine gelatin, milk powder, and salt. Pulse to mix.
  • Pour in boiling water and pulse again.
  • Quickly add grated cheese and blend until smooth.
  • Pour into the lined pan, level the top, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 4+ hours or overnight.
  • Slice and use as needed. Store in fridge up to 3 weeks.

Notes

✔ Use freshly grated cheese for best texture
✔ Not suitable for freezing
✔ Do not microwave to melt—use stovetop for creamy results
