Honey Garlic Steak Bites

Tender sirloin steak bites coated in a sweet and spicy honey garlic glaze, cooked in one skillet and ready in just 20 minutes.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb sirloin steak cubed
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 –2 teaspoons red pepper flakes
  • 1 tablespoon cooking oil
  • Sesame seeds optional
  • Green onions optional

Equipment

  • Large skillet
  • mixing bowl
  • measuring cups
  • Measuring spoons
  • Tongs

Method
 

  1. Whisk together soy sauce, honey, garlic, and red pepper flakes.
  2. Toss steak cubes in the marinade and let sit for 10 minutes.
  3. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Sear steak bites for 2 minutes without moving.
  5. Flip and cook another 2 minutes.
  6. Pour in remaining marinade and cook until thick and glossy.
  7. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.
  8. Serve immediately over rice, noodles, or vegetables.

Notes

Use sirloin for the best texture.
Cook in batches if needed.
Let the skillet get very hot before adding the steak.
Adjust the red pepper flakes to your preferred spice level.
