- Remove husks and silk from the corn. Rinse under cold water.
- In a large pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Add milk and butter.
- Carefully place corn into the boiling mixture.
- Boil for 7–8 minutes until tender.
- Use tongs to remove and drain. Serve with additional butter, salt, and pepper.
Notes
Try half-and-half or heavy cream for richer flavor.
Add garlic, herbs, or chili flakes for extra seasoning.
Vegan? Use plant-based butter and milk.
