How to Cook Corn on the Cob with Just 2 Ingredients

There’s nothing quite like biting into juicy, buttery corn on the cob in the summer. But what if we told you there’s a way to make it even better—with just milk and butte

Ingredients
  

  • 4 ears corn on the cob husked
  • 1 cup whole milk or plant-based milk
  • 2 –3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • Optional: salt pepper, herbs for garnish

Method
 

  1. Remove husks and silk from the corn. Rinse under cold water.
  2. In a large pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Add milk and butter.
  3. Carefully place corn into the boiling mixture.
  4. Boil for 7–8 minutes until tender.
  5. Use tongs to remove and drain. Serve with additional butter, salt, and pepper.

Notes

Try half-and-half or heavy cream for richer flavor.
Add garlic, herbs, or chili flakes for extra seasoning.
Vegan? Use plant-based butter and milk.
