Low-carb, high-protein, cheesy roll-ups that deliver all the flavor of a classic Philly cheesesteak without the carbs.

Equipment

  • Large skillet
  • Baking sheet
  • Parchment paper
  • spatula
  • Knife and cutting board

Ingredients

  • 2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • ½ onion thinly sliced
  • 1 bell pepper thinly sliced
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 oz cream cheese

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment.
  • Brown ground beef in a skillet. Drain excess grease.
  • Add onion and bell pepper. Cook until soft (5–7 min).
  • Stir in Worcestershire and cream cheese until melted and combined.
  • Spread cheese on baking sheet in a 10x13" rectangle. Bake 5–8 min.
  • Let cool slightly, then spread beef mixture on top.
  • Roll tightly and slice into 1–2 inch rounds.
  • Serve warm and enjoy the melty, cheesy goodness!

Notes

Don’t overbake the cheese! You want it flexible, not crispy.
Try pepper jack for added spice or provolone for a more traditional Philly taste.
Make ahead? Store uncut roll in the fridge, slice and reheat as needed.
Add mushrooms or hot peppers for even more depth and flavor.
