Method
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment.
- Brown ground beef in a skillet. Drain excess grease.
- Add onion and bell pepper. Cook until soft (5–7 min).
- Stir in Worcestershire and cream cheese until melted and combined.
- Spread cheese on baking sheet in a 10x13" rectangle. Bake 5–8 min.
- Let cool slightly, then spread beef mixture on top.
- Roll tightly and slice into 1–2 inch rounds.
- Serve warm and enjoy the melty, cheesy goodness!
Notes
Don’t overbake the cheese! You want it flexible, not crispy.
Try pepper jack for added spice or provolone for a more traditional Philly taste.
Make ahead? Store uncut roll in the fridge, slice and reheat as needed.
Add mushrooms or hot peppers for even more depth and flavor.
