- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13-inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, mix together cake mix, melted butter, and 2 eggs until combined. Fold in nuts if using.
- Spread batter evenly into the pan.
- In another bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and 1 egg until smooth. Pour over cake batter.
- Bake for 45 minutes until golden brown. Let cool completely before slicing.
