Nestle Toll House Death by Chocolate Cake

Nestle Toll House Death by Chocolate Cake Ultra-rich, moist chocolate cake packed with melty chocolate chips.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 box Devil’s Food Cake mix
  • 1 box instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 5 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup sour cream or buttermilk
  • 3/4 cup brewed coffee
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

Equipment

  • mixing bowls
  • Whisk or electric mixer
  • Bundt cake pan
  • spatula

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C); grease and flour a Bundt pan.
  2. Whisk cake mix and pudding mix in large bowl.
  3. Combine eggs, vanilla, oil, sour cream (or buttermilk), and coffee. Add to dry mix; stir just until combined.
  4. Fold in chocolate chips.
  5. Pour batter into pan and bake 45-50 min until a skewer comes out clean.
  6. Cool 10 min, then invert onto wire rack.

Notes

Dust with powdered sugar or drizzle with ganache.
Add nuts or mini chips for variation.
