Ingredients

  • 1 8 oz tub Cool Whip, fully thawed (full-fat preferred)
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 12 oz chocolate melting wafers or chocolate chips
  • Crushed toffee bits chopped nuts, or mini chocolate chips for topping (optional)

Equipment

  • Mixing bowl, baking sheet, parchment paper, cookie scoop, microwave-safe bowl, fork

Method

  1. Gently fold Cool Whip, powdered sugar, and vanilla together until smooth and fluffy.
  2. Scoop 1–1½-inch mounds onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  3. Freeze at least 2 hours until completely firm.
  4. Melt chocolate in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  5. Dip each frozen mound into chocolate using a fork, let excess drip off, and return to parchment. Sprinkle with toppings if using.
  6. Freeze 15–20 minutes until chocolate is set. Store in an airtight container in the freezer. Let sit 1–2 minutes at room temperature before eating.

Notes

Use full-fat Cool Whip for best texture. Freeze centers solid before dipping. Work quickly while coating. Store frozen and serve very cold. Optional peanut butter or other mix-ins can be folded into the Cool Whip base. Best within one month.
