Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 3 tablespoons creamy peanut butter for chocolate layer

Equipment

  • 9x9-inch pan, parchment paper, mixing bowl, microwave-safe bowl

Method

  1. Line a 9x9-inch pan with parchment paper.
  2. Mix melted butter, graham cracker crumbs, powdered sugar, and 1 cup peanut butter until smooth and thick. Press firmly into the pan.
  3. Melt chocolate chips and 3 tablespoons peanut butter in 30-second microwave bursts, stirring until smooth and glossy.
  4. Pour over the peanut butter layer and spread evenly.
  5. Refrigerate at least 2 hours until firm.

Notes

Use conventional creamy peanut butter for best texture. Press the base firmly. Chill fully for clean slices. A hot, dry knife gives the neatest cuts. Store in the refrigerator. Excellent make-ahead treat. Optional flaky salt on top is delicious. Double in a 9x13 pan if desired.
