- Slice onions thin. Heat skillet with butter/oil.
- Place onions on skillet, add ¼ lb beef on top. Smash flat.
- Cook 3–4 minutes, flip, cook 2–3 more.
- Add cheese (optional) during last minute.
- Toast buns, assemble burgers with toppings. Serve hot.
Notes
For extra crispiness, don’t overcrowd the skillet.
