- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Pour the melted butter into the prepared baking dish, coating the bottom evenly.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the self-rising flour, sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth.
- Pour the batter evenly over the melted butter. Do not stir.
- Arrange the frozen peach slices evenly over the batter. Do not stir.
- Sprinkle the peaches generously with additional sugar.
- Bake for 45–50 minutes, or until the top is deeply golden and the edges are bubbling.
- Cool for 10 minutes before serving.
- Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream, if desired

Use frozen peaches directly from the freezer—no thawing needed.
Avoid stirring after layering the ingredients.
