Ingredients
  

  • 1 fresh oregano leaf or ¼ teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 cup hot water about 85°C / 185°F

Equipment

  • Mug
  • kettle
  • tea strainer

Method
 

  1. Heat water until boiling, then cool for 2–3 minutes.
  2. Crush oregano leaf and place in mug (or add dried oregano).
  3. Pour hot water over oregano. Cover and steep 7 minutes.
  4. Strain if needed and sip slowly on an empty stomach.

Notes

Best consumed first thing in the morning for optimal absorption.
Add lemon, ginger, or mint for flavor variations.
Avoid sweeteners for maximum health benefits.
