Crust
  • cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 6 tbsp melted butter
  • Pinch of salt
Cheesecake Layer
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla
Pecan Layer
  • 1 cup corn syrup
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • ¼ cup melted butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • cups pecan halves

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Make crust and bake for 8–10 mins.
  2. Beat cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla. Pour over crust.
  3. Mix pecan filling. Gently spoon over cheesecake layer.
  4. Bake for 45–55 mins. Cool 1 hr, then chill 3–4 hrs.
  5. Serve chilled with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
