Sweet, nutty, and buttery treats made with Ritz crackers and homemade caramel pecan topping — the ultimate fall dessert with no baking required.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 –3 sleeves Ritz crackers
  • 1 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
  • cup butter
  • cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp nutmeg
  • 2 cups pecans roughly chopped

Equipment

  • Medium saucepan
  • Wooden spoon or silicone spatula
  • Cookie sheet
  • Parchment paper
  • Cookie scoop or tablespoon
  • Airtight container for storage

Method
 

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange Ritz crackers in a single layer.
  2. In a saucepan, combine condensed milk, butter, and brown sugar. Simmer 8–10 minutes, stirring often.
  3. Lower heat; whisk in milk, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg until smooth.
  4. Stir in pecans and cook 2 minutes more.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto crackers.
  6. Cool completely before storing in an airtight container.

Notes

Store at room temperature for 3–5 days or refrigerate up to 1 week.
