Pecan Pie Crescent Rolls

Buttery crescent rolls filled with a gooey pecan pie mixture and baked until golden and flaky. A quick and easy holiday-inspired pastry perfect for breakfast, brunch, or dessert.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 can crescent roll dough
  • cup chopped pecans
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp corn syrup
  • 1 tbsp melted butter
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch cinnamon optional
  • Coarse sugar optional

Equipment

  • Baking sheet
  • Parchment paper
  • mixing bowl
  • pastry brush

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Mix pecans, brown sugar, corn syrup, butter, vanilla, and cinnamon.
  3. Separate crescent dough into triangles.
  4. Spoon filling onto the wide end of each triangle.
  5. Roll into crescents and place seam-side down.
  6. Brush with butter and sprinkle with coarse sugar.
  7. Bake 10–13 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Cool slightly and serve warm.

Notes

Toasting the pecans enhances their flavor.
A vanilla glaze makes these taste even more like bakery pastries.
Best enjoyed warm while the filling is soft and caramelized.
