Pizza Burger Pockets

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 can refrigerated pizza dough or crescent rolls
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup pizza sauce plus extra for dipping
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 3 tbsp butter melted
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease or line a baking sheet.
  2. Brown ground beef; season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Drain and cool slightly.
  3. Roll out dough and cut into 8 squares.
  4. Add a tablespoon of pizza sauce, a scoop of beef, and mozzarella to each square. Fold and seal edges firmly with a fork.
  5. Place on baking sheet. Mix melted butter with garlic and brush generously over the tops.
  6. Bake 15–18 minutes until deeply golden. Rest 1–2 minutes; serve with extra pizza sauce.

Notes

Do not overfill. Seal edges tightly. Cool beef slightly before assembling. Garlic butter is key for flavor and color. Excellent with pepperoni or other pizza toppings. Freezer-friendly. Reheat in oven or air fryer for crispness. Kid-approved and adult-requested.
