- Preheat oven to 250°F (120°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
 - In a large bowl, mix Crispix cereal and pecan halves.
 - In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in brown sugar, corn syrup, and salt.
 - Bring mixture to a boil, stirring constantly. Let it boil for 3 minutes without stirring.
 - Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla and baking soda (it will bubble).
 - Pour mixture over cereal and pecans. Stir until coated.
 - Spread evenly on the baking sheet. Bake 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes.
 - Remove from oven and let cool completely. Break into pieces and store airtight.
