Warm, melty, golden cheese bread made entirely on the stovetop—no oven needed!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 large egg
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 cups corn starch or tapioca flour
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter melted
  • 1 tsp baking powder

Method
 

  1. In a bowl, whisk the egg, salt, and milk.
  2. Stir in the starch gradually to form dough.
  3. Add cheese and melted butter; mix well.
  4. Fold in baking powder gently.
  5. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
  6. Form dough into patties and cook 4–6 minutes per side until golden.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy!
