Refreshing Homemade Pineapple Lemonade

This Homemade Pineapple Lemonade blends the bold, citrusy tang of lemons with the tropical sweetness of pineapple for a thirst-quenching drink that’s as refreshing as it is beautiful

Ingredients
  

  • - 1 cup fresh-squeezed lemon juice 4–6 lemons
  • - 1 cup pineapple juice
  • - ½ to ¾ cup granulated sugar to taste
  • - 4 cups cold water
  • - 1 cup ice plus more for serving
  • - Lemon & pineapple slices for garnish
  • - Fresh mint leaves optional

Equipment

  • Large pitcher
  • Citrus juicer (manual or electric)
  • Long stirring spoon
  • measuring cups
  • Sharp knife and cutting board
  • Serving glasses

Method
 

  1. Juice lemons, removing seeds but keeping pulp.
  2. In a large pitcher, mix lemon and pineapple juice.
  3. Add sugar and stir until dissolved.
  4. Pour in water and stir again. Add 1 cup of ice.
  5. Serve over additional ice and garnish with lemon, pineapple, and mint.

Notes

- For fizzy lemonade, replace 2 cups of water with sparkling water.
- Make it slushy by blending with crushed ice.
- Store leftovers in the fridge up to 2 days.
