Rotel Cream Cheese Sausage Balls

These cheesy, spicy, and savory sausage balls are the ultimate appetizer or snack. Quick to prep and perfect for feeding a crowd!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground sausage hot or mild
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 10 oz can Rotel, well-drained
  • 2 cups Bisquick baking mix
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese optional

Equipment

  • Large mixing bowl
  • Wooden spoon or hand mixer
  • Baking sheet
  • Parchment paper or silicone mat
  • Cookie scoop (optional but helpful)
  • Oven

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix sausage, cream cheese, and Rotel until fully combined.
  3. Stir in Bisquick and cheddar cheese until a dough forms.
  4. Roll into 1–1.5-inch balls and place on the baking sheet.
  5. Bake 20–25 minutes, until golden brown.
  6. Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm with your favorite dipping sauce!

Notes

Make Ahead: Prepare and freeze raw sausage balls. Bake straight from frozen, adding a few extra minutes to cook time.
Spicy Kick: Use hot sausage or add crushed red pepper flakes for heat.
