Method
- Mix flour, garlic, rosemary, salt, pepper, and yeast in a large bowl.
- Add water and stir until sticky dough forms. Cover with plastic wrap. Let rest 18–24 hours.
- Turn dough onto floured surface. Shape into a round.
- Place into greased skillet (or lined air fryer basket) sprinkled with cornmeal. Cover with towel and let rise 2 hours.
Oven Method:
- Preheat oven to 450°F.
- Bake 30–40 minutes until golden. Cool 15 minutes.
Air Fryer Method:
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F.
- Drizzle loaf with olive oil and add toppings.
- Air fry 15–20 minutes until golden. Let cool 10–15 minutes.
Notes
Store cooled bread in a bag at room temp for up to 2 days or freeze.
Great with soups, spreads, or as a side for dinner.
Can be made gluten-free using 1:1 flour substitutes.
