Sandwich Crust Garlic Rolls

Zero-waste garlic rolls made from sandwich crusts, brushed with garlic butter and baked until golden and crispy.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups sandwich bread crusts
  • 4 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 –3 cloves garlic
  • 1 tbsp parsley
  • Salt & pepper
  • ¼ cup cheese optional

Equipment

  • Rolling Pin
  • Baking sheet
  • Parchment paper
  • pastry brush

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Flatten crusts with rolling pin.
  3. Mix garlic butter ingredients.
  4. Brush crusts and sprinkle cheese.
  5. Roll tightly and place seam-side down.
  6. Brush tops with remaining butter.
  7. Bake 12–15 minutes until golden.

Notes

Use fresh garlic for best flavor.
Do not microwave leftovers.
Cheese is optional but recommended.
Great for reducing food waste.
