Ingredients
  

Crust
  • 2⅔ cups all-purpose flour
  • ¾ cup powdered milk
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 package quick-rise yeast
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1⅔ cups warm water
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
Topping
  • cups pizza sauce
  • 3 cups shredded mozzarella
  • 1 lb Italian sausage cooked and crumbled

Equipment

  • Half-sheet baking pan
  • Large mixing bowl
  • measuring cups
  • Wooden spoon
  • Pizza Cutter

Method
 

  1. Mix flour, powdered milk, sugar, yeast, and salt.
  2. Stir in warm water and oil until a soft dough forms.
  3. Press dough into a greased sheet pan.
  4. Rest for 10 minutes.
  5. Spread pizza sauce over dough.
  6. Top with mozzarella and sausage.
  7. Bake at 425°F for 18–22 minutes.
  8. Cool 5 minutes and cut into squares.

Notes

Fresh mozzarella melts best.
Rest dough before baking for a softer crust.
Great for freezing and meal prep.
Add pepperoni or vegetables for easy variations.
Delicious with ranch or marinara dipping sauce.
