- Add apples, cider, cinnamon, and vanilla to slow cooker.
- Cook on LOW 8–10 hrs (or HIGH 5–6 hrs). Stir occasionally.
- Mash with potato masher or blend smooth.
- If too watery, uncover and cook 1–2 hrs more.
- Store in jars: fridge (3 weeks), freezer (6 months), or can for shelf-stable.
Notes
Mix apple varieties for best flavor.
Avoid Granny Smith if making no-sugar version.
Use as spread, glaze, or sweetener in recipes.
