Ingredients
  

  • lbs beef stew meat or sirloin
  • 1 large onion
  • 3 bell peppers
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • cup soy sauce
  • cup beef broth
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch + 3 tbsp water

Equipment

  • 6-quart slow cooker
  • Small mixing bowl

Method
 

  1. Add beef and vegetables to slow cooker.
  2. Whisk sauce ingredients and pour over.
  3. Cook low 6–7 hours or high 3–4 hours.
  4. Stir in cornstarch slurry 20 minutes before serving.
  5. Serve over rice or noodles.
