- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Spread the uncooked rice evenly across the bottom of the dish.
- Whisk together the cream of mushroom soup and chicken broth until smooth. Pour over the rice and stir gently.
- Season both sides of the pork chops with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
- Arrange the pork chops over the rice mixture.
- Cover tightly with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
- Remove the foil and sprinkle cheddar cheese evenly over the pork chops.
- Bake uncovered for another 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and lightly golden and the pork reaches 145°F (63°C).
- Rest for 5–10 minutes before serving.
Notes
Use freshly shredded cheddar for the best melting.
