Soft Brown Sugar Cinnamon Cookies

Ultra-soft cinnamon sugar cookies made with brown sugar and butter for a chewy, melt-in-your-mouth texture. Perfect for cozy baking and easy homemade desserts.

Ingredients
  

Cookies
  • 1 cup butter
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 2 ¼ cups flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
Cinnamon Coating
  • cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon

Equipment

  • mixing bowls
  • electric mixer
  • Baking sheet
  • Parchment paper
  • Cookie scoop
  • cooling rack

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Line baking sheet.
  2. Cream butter and sugars until fluffy.
  3. Mix in egg and vanilla.
  4. Whisk flour, baking soda, salt.
  5. Combine dry and wet ingredients.
  6. Roll dough balls in cinnamon sugar.
  7. Bake 10–12 minutes.
  8. Cool 5 minutes on pan, then transfer.

Notes

Do not overbake for soft centers.
Chill dough for thicker cookies.
Perfect with milk or coffee.
