- Preheat oven to 350°F. Generously grease a muffin tin.
- Whisk brown sugar and flour together. Add melted butter, eggs, and vanilla; stir until smooth and glossy.
- Fold in chopped pecans.
- Spoon batter into muffin cups, filling each about ⅔ full.
- Bake 20–25 minutes until tops are deeply golden, edges are set, and centers still have a slight jiggle.
- Cool in the pan 10 minutes before carefully removing. Serve warm or at room temperature.
Notes
Grease the tin well for easy release. Do not overbake—the slight jiggle keeps the centers gooey. Excellent warm with whipped cream or ice cream. Store airtight; freeze well. A nostalgic treat without the pie-crust work.
