- Boil squash in salted water for 10–15 minutes until tender. Drain and mash.
- In a bowl, mix mashed squash, soup, celery, onion, butter, eggs, and seasonings.
- Pour mixture into a greased 9x13 baking dish.
- Bake at 350°F for 35–45 minutes until golden and set.
- Let cool slightly, then serve warm.

Notes
Substitute cream of celery for a vegetarian option.
Add crushed crackers or cornbread crumbs for a crunchy topping.
