Strawberry Cheesecake Dump Cake

Ingredients
  

  • - 2 21 oz cans strawberry pie filling
  • - 1 8 oz block cream cheese, softened
  • - ¼ cup granulated sugar optional
  • - ½ tsp vanilla extract optional
  • - 1 15.25 oz box yellow or white cake mix
  • - 1 cup 2 sticks unsalted butter, melted

Equipment

  • 9×13-inch baking dish
  • Small mixing bowl (if mixing the cream cheese)
  • Spatula or Spoon
  • Oven

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 baking dish.
  2. Spread strawberry pie filling evenly in the dish.
  3. Optionally mix cream cheese with sugar and vanilla, or cube and scatter over filling.
  4. Sprinkle dry cake mix evenly on top. Do not stir.
  5. Pour melted butter evenly over the surface.
  6. Bake for 45–55 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  7. Let cool 10–15 minutes before serving. Delicious with whipped cream or ice cream.

Notes

Use different pie fillings like cherry or blueberry for variations. For added crunch, top with chopped nuts or graham cracker crumbs.
